The pattern was designed for an exterior fabric of Mora faux leather or Prairie faux leather - both are very soft and pliable, but durable! Get your favourite from Emmaline Bags. The accent fabric is expected to be the cotton canvas print, allowing you to feature a favourite design. Line it with a fun cotton that's interfaced! Using the recommended materials will keep it domestic sewing machine friendly! If you want to adapt it to cork or firm vinyl, you will want to change up the interfacing and stabilizers to suit your chosen materials and may require an industrial sewing machine for the final construction.
The Jasper Tote Bag comes in one size, ideal for keeping you organized while carrying a classy bag while travelling or commuting for work! The front pocket is a slip and zip pocket. Consider adding extra accent material and duplicating this pocket on the back of the bag, too! The side pockets have a decorative pleat that allows you to actually fit items inside them on the ends of the bag. The main interior contains a large zippered divider pocket that is attached to the sides and bottom. Finish the bag off with your favourite length of handles - whether short to hold in your hand, or long to carry on your shoulder.
