Join Giuseppe Ribaudo for a full-day, hands-on exploration of his modern take on the classic Pickle Dish quilt.

Join us for this one-day workshop on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, for a hands-on in-person event in Surrey, BC.

Inspired by the modular construction approach seen in his Re Quilt, this workshop reimagines the traditional Pickle Dish block into a flexible, buildable system. Students will learn how to construct the quilt using individual components that come together into dynamic, graphic layouts—perfect for experimenting with colour, repetition, and movement. Along the way, we’ll explore both foundation paper piecing (FPP) and curved piecing techniques, building confidence and precision in these essential skills.

Time: Doors open at 9:00am; Class runs 10:00am - 5:00pm with a 1-hour break for lunch (times may vary)
Location: Holiday Inn & Suites, Surrey East - Cloverdale
