Fleetwood Tote
The Fleetwood Tote is a quilted bag pattern that has all the features you'd want in a tote bag pattern: a zippered closure, pockets inside and out (one zippered pocket on the outside and slip pockets on the outside and inside), no bias binding, and completely finished (bound) edges. The pattern includes full colour, step-by-step graphics walking you through every step of creating your tote. Although none of the steps are particularly difficult, the pattern is quite involved and is geared toward the intermediate or advanced sewer.
Difficulty Level: Advanced. The Fleetwood Tote pattern is a very involved project and includes many different sewing skills, including: basting, quilting, cutting with a rotary cutter and ruler, making handles, installing zippers using two different methods, making and installing binding, and creating boxy corners.
